Secret Mode anunció en el Xbox Games Showcase, Still Wakes the Deep, un juego de horror narrativo en primera persona desarrollado en Unreal Engine 5. Se lanzará a principios de 2024 en Xbox Series X|S, PC a través de Steam y Epic Games Store, y PlayStation 5. Still Wakes the Deep también se lanzará con Xbox Game Pass para consola y PC.
Still Wakes the Deep, es un regreso al género de terror narrativo en primera persona para The Chinese Room, creador de juegos aclamados por la crítica como Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture y Dear Esther.
El jugador será un trabajador de una plataforma petrolera en alta mar que lucha por su vida a través de una tormenta terrible, un entorno peligroso y las aguas oscuras y heladas del Mar del Norte. Todas las líneas de comunicación han sido cortadas. Lo único que queda es enfrentar el horror incognoscible que ha subido a bordo.
